You will have a very personal and authentic experience as the hotel is run by a very important family; it is the third generation who take in charge of the hotel.

I support local businesses and I am delighted to see that one of the most beautiful hotels in the area is not owned by a hotel chain but it is a local business.

The services, the food, the whole experience was amazing! It is a place which has one of the best price-quality rations from the area! Not to mention that it is located in the best-rated lake resort, Bellagio.

2. Il Lago di Como

Located in Torno with amazing views over the lake and the surrounding area, the 5 stars hotel Il Sereno Lago Di Como is a great place to go if you want to be pampered.

The resort is located 15 minutes drive from Como train station and 23 kilometres away from Bellagio resort.

Il Sereno Lago di Como has a Michelin star restaurant where you can try all kind of tasty dishes and an infinity pool set right on the lake is waiting for you to cool off and relax.

A sauna, a steam room and a spa can be found at the hotel and the experience is one of a kind!

The interiors are stylish and elegant with a classic Italian design and the services are amazing!

We definitely recommend this hotel if you want to be pampered and looking for unique food experiences in Michelin restaurants!

Located in the resort with the same name, Tremezzo, Grand Hotel Tremezzo Como is located right across Bellagio resort.

From the rooms, you can admire the beauty of the lake and of Bellagio as well as the colours of the Alps.

This lovely art nouveau hotel is located just 3 minutes away from Villa Carlotta and its botanic garden has 3 swimming pools and many options when speaking about food.

Grand Hotel Tremezzo offers luxurious accommodation including some amazing suites with their own private garden or others located at upper floors offering amazing views over the lake.

You can try their excellent restaurants once patronised by Greta Garbo or spend some quality time on the private beach right near the lake!

4. Vista Palazzo – Small Luxury Hotels of the World

Vista Palazzo Como is a 5 stars resort located right on the shore of Lake Como, 100 metres away from the ferry terminal.

Cable car Como- Brunate is located just 850 metres away from the hotel, while bus and train stations are within a walking distance.

The interiors are very stylish with amazing decor and some of them offer a balcony overlooking the lake and the town.

The food, the rooms and the services are all first class and the staff is well trained and very attentive at details.

Located between the beautiful Bellagio resort and the Lake Como’s Bay of Pescallo, Hotel Belvedere Lake Como overlooking the Alps is a wonderful choice for spending a few days far from city stress.

This is another family-owned resort since 1880 when it was built! It is the fifth generation who manage the hotel at this moment and they are doing a really good job!

The hotel does not have direct access to the lake, is located on top of a hill, but it has wonderful views of the surroundings.

A spa, a swimming pool, a library and a jacuzzi can be found at the hotel and are the ideal place to relax and enjoy your time spend abroad!
