The Yellow Nest Tulum reviews

Linda Perez from Miami, Florida

From the moment we arrived, Erick received us in the most relaxed and pleasant way. He was very welcoming and warming. Right away set us up with our most delicious and refreshing welcome drinks. The most perfect way to get our day pass started. Checked us in and gave us a small property tour explaining the concept and how they are an eco property. The property itself if so charming in every way. Small messages throughout, beautiful greenery surrounds you and so lush. We made our way to the pool for our most perfect and delicious floating breakfast. This chef makes everything so tasty!!! The entire staff is super attentive and Erick came around often checking that we were most comfortable. We were on our honeymoon and the vibe felt so peaceful and heavenly. We did massages as well and that was perfect too. They also offer something called temezcal (I might be spelling that wrong). This is like an old Mayan ritual for

Purification. We did this and it was a great experience. We highly recommend that as well. All in all The Yellow Nest is above and beyond a simple 5 stars all the way around!

The Yellow Nest was amazing! We LOVED our time there and didn’t want to leave. We actually wish that we had scheduled more time there instead of doing some of our excursions outside the hotel. The staff were so nice, welcoming, and accommodating, especially Erick. He really went out of his way to give us a great experience. We were greeted with complimentary drinks and given a tour of the place. Erick checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we had all that we needed. The Yellow Nest provided complimentary shuttle pick up and drop off from Dos Ojos cenote just for us at the times we needed. The food was INCREDIBLE. The whole experience very much felt like an in-the-jungle retreat. This is a great place, especially for those who enjoy experiencing the outdoors. We loved every minute of it.

Hotel Bar

The Living Room Bar is located on the white private beach near the restaurant.

You can choose from an impressive collection of wines, cocktails, and craft beer here.

My favorite ones are mojitos infused with cardamon and mango margaritas.

The Beachfront Bar and Restaurant is open on a daily basis from 8 a.m. till 10 p.m., while the bar is open until 11.30 p.m.

The perfect day at The Yellow Nest Tulum

The Nest Tulum pays attention to details and is orientated in offering rejuvenating and healing experiences.

Start your day with a private yoga class, go for a detoxifying volcanic mud ritual at the on-site spa, spend your afternoon at the beachfront bar sipping from a Margarita, and end your day with a delicious meal cooked from natural ingredients.

If you want to get in contact with the Mayan culture, hop in your car and go to the ruins of a 13th-century Mayan settlement located close to the hotel.

Cool off in Grand Cenote, go snorkeling and kayaking in the ocean, or explore the Sian Ka’an biosphere reserve.

Or, lie back and float along the mangroves on the reserve’s “lazy rivers”.
