Surf resorts in the Maldives follow the patterns of the Maldivian archipelago and here I am talking about luxurious villas with stunning views of the Indian Ocean, top-notch services, and a lot of amenities.
Tropical waters and incredible waves attract surfers from all over the world, while the luxurious villas make this Maldives the best place in the world where surfers enjoy the waves and are pampered all day round.
You can surf in the Maldives all year round but let me tell you which are the best months for this sport in the Maldivian archipelago.

Best time to go to Maldives for surfing
First of all, I want you to know that the archipelago of Maldives can be split into 3 main surfing areas:
- Male Atolls
- Central Atolls
- Southern Atolls
Male Atolls is the most accessible from all three zones and that is why it is also the most crowded one.
The best time to surf in Male Atolls is anytime between April to October when quite strong winds blow all day long creating great waves for surfing.
The Central Atolls area comes with perfect waves for surfing, among the best ones from the whole Maldivian archipelago.
Shoulder season (March, April, October, November) is the best time to go to Central Atolls if you want to enjoy the waves, perfect your tan on luxurious surfing yachts and eat delicious dishes inspired by international and Maldivian cuisine.
Southern Atolls are considered the quintessence of the Maldivian surf with strong winds and perfect waves.
The season that lasts from December till February in this part of Maldives is short but extremely intense so make sure you book your room and get ready to ride these amazing waves.
Now that you know when to go and where to go to maximize your time spend in the Maldives and be sure that you ride the best waves, it is time to tell you which are the best surf resorts Maldives has.
The main reason why surfers from all over the world come to the Maldives to ride the waves is the existence of two powerful waves known as Tiger Stripes and Beacons.
These two waves are the most powerful from the Maldivian archipelago two types of waves barreling down fast and hard on a shallow reef hugging drainer.
Surf resorts in the Maldives
All the Maldivian resorts are known for their high quality of services, luxurious villas, and incredible views so picking the best hotel for your stay might be more time-consuming and complicated than you have ever imagined.
We made for you a list of the best surf resorts Maldives has to be easier for you to pick the resort that suits you most.
1. Six Senses Laamu
Yes, Six Senses Laamu is located quite far from Male International Airport, but this comes with a lot of advantages: stunning views, incredible villas, and uncrowded surf breaks which is exactly what you are looking for.
Six Senses Laamu Maldives is located about a one-hour seaplane ride from the airport plus 15 minutes speedboat ride but definitely worth all this effort.
The resort is the only one built from the whole atoll so you will have the waves just for yourself.
Surfers’ hotspot is Yin Yangs, a remote area that comes with incredible waves on the outside section and some hollow barrels on the inside.
If you want to feel more adrenaline pumping through your veins, then you should definitely try surfing in the area called Machines, a place with long tube rides, what every surfer is looking for.
As for the resort, I have only good things to say; the villas are extremely spacious and clear, with many natural elements like wood, leather, thatch, and linen.
All the guests are required to stay barefoot to experience the real Maldivian atmosphere, and there is no dress code for dinner, so you don’t have to stress about this.
Pick an overwater villa as you have direct access to the ocean from your room and you can snorkel all day, observing the underwater world.
One thing that I really like at Six Senses Laamu Maldives , the best Maldives surf resort from the area is the open bathroom; nothing compared with a shower under the stars after a long day on the ocean.
As for the food, you don’t have to worry about it as there are 6 restaurants and bars spread all across the island.
All the herbs used for cooking come from their own garden, while the fish served each day comes from the waters around the island.
Don’t forget to pay a visit to the ice cream stand where you can find about 40 different types of ice cream, all extremely tasty.
After a morning spent in the middle of the waves, don’t forget to book a relaxing afternoon at the local spa, as it is famous in the whole Maldivian archipelago for its services and therapists.
When you need to take a break from surfing, pay a visit to the water sports center and book a diving trip, a snorkeling tour or even a romantic lunch on a deserted island located not far from the hotel.

This was our first visit to Six Senses Laamu, traveling with friends who had been before and who couldn’t recommend the resort highly enough. We were expecting a treat but nothing prepares you for the sheer beauty of that first impression. The location is absolutely stunning and we love the feeling of space that the layout affords. The property has a natural, rustic feel but is very well appointed, very well maintained, and beautifully clean. We had a room halfway along the Jetty and enjoyed the see breeze and the aquamarine views as we pottered along on our bikes. If you love snorkeling and diving this is definitely the place to come as you’ll see a huge diversity of marine life. We even witnessed the hatching of turtles at midnight on one of the beaches, supervised by the Island’s Marine Conservation Team – what a wonderful job they are doing. Food and drink is also exceptional and we had the opportunity to visit all the restaurants and partake in themed evenings. Our favorite venue was “Leaf” where on both of our visits we were treated to stand out meals. Above all this was a relaxing holiday made all the more so by the resort’s dedicated and caring staff. Our GEM, Thorir, was always on hand to ensure that we had the most memorable experience, from the time we landed at Kadhdhoo until we were waved off from the jetty on our way home. Would we return? YES – In a heartbeat!
Emilio M from US
We spent a wonderful time at the Six Senses Laamu resort. Location and views are unbeatable, facilities are awesome, food is from another world (don’t miss out on the dinner buffets…), and staff are very welcoming and helpful. Particularly our GEM (guest experience manager) Shah, who was an incredible host and made our experience unforgettable. Thanks everyone from Six Senses and thank you Shah for your kindness! Hope to see you soon again!
2. Four Seasons Kuda Huraa
One of the most beautiful Maldive surf resorts is Four Seasons Kuda Huraa Maldives, conveniently located to Male International Airport, about 25 minutes speedboat ride.
Despite its closeness to the airport the resort atmosphere is extremely relaxed and comes with amazing views of the Indian Ocean.
This luxury resort is the ideal location for those of you looking for a place close to the airport, with short transfers but incredible services.
The best spot for surfing near Four Seasons Kuda Huraa is known as Sultan, a place with incredible waves, just perfect to combine luxury with world-class waves.
At the resort’s water center are available surfing packages to the nearest surfing places Cokes and Chickens, Ninjas and Honkys.
Four Seasons Kuda Huraa Maldives resembles a Maldivian village with traditional houses with thatched roofs and amazing views of the ocean.
The centerpiece of the resort is the infinity pool overlooking the turquoise ocean, a great place to relax and enjoy the sun if you get bored of your villa (which I don’t think is possible).
There are 96 villas on the island with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, private pools, L’Occitane toiletries, and marble bathrooms.
On-site there are 4 restaurants, all located close to the pool serving buffet and a la carte dishes inspired by international, Asian, and local cuisine.
The water sports center organizes a wide range of excursions, from whale watching to snorkeling, diving, and of course surfing.

Back to Kuda Huraa for a 9th visit this year. This Resort and it’s professional management and staff have consistently provided my family with a home away from home experience! Sincere service is the key to the success of Kuda Huraa. Everyone who lives there treats one another as family and you become part of that when you are on island.
The layout of the resort is functional and sophisticated. At night the lighting and detail throughout create a serene environment. This place is a proven entity in the industry and only gets better the more you go there. We stayed in over-water villas this trip and all have been reconfigured and updated. New Spa as well is a must twice a week. Plenty of activities from yoga, weight, scuba, windsurfing, jet ski, fishing, surfing with Tropic Surf Co. Food is excellent at every venue. We plan on returning ASAP
Greer M from US
My husband and I had a truly amazing trip to the Four Seasons Kuda Huraa. We were in the Maldives to surf, and I could not imagine a more perfect experience. The food and service were fantastic. The staff of the hotel was friendly, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond for us. We particularly connected with Ansar at the Reef Club (try the Cocohito!), Shappe and Wasiu at the Cafe (the garydiya soup is fantastic), Issey poolside, and our boat captain and crew of Bashier and Bodey. Surfing with Tropic Surf employees Luke and Emma are not to be missed. This was truly a bucket list trip and probably the best surf trip we have ever been on. The hotel’s amenities are top-notch, and this is a wonderful place for families and couples alike. Make sure you take advantage of all the culinary, watersports, and spa services they offer! We can’t wait to go back!
3. Gili Lankanfushi
Want to spend a luxury holiday on one of the best surf resorts in the Maldives?
Book your room at Gili Lankanfushi Maldives, one of the best resorts from the Maldives, a place where luxury, top-notch services, and privacy got new meanings.
The closest surf location from the hotel is Jailbreaks, a super fun ride that offers hackable walls and up barrels and is one of the most consistent waves from the area.
Close to Gili Lankanfushi are another 2 famous surfing spots called Sultans and Honkys, which means you have plenty of surfing spots to choose from each day.
As for the resorts, I don’t have enough words to describe this magnificent hotel and its top-notch services.
You reach the island resort after a short speedboat ride (20 minutes) from Male International Airport, so you don’t have to worry about long transfers and waiting hours in the lounge.
Gili Lankanfushi’s architecture reminds me of Robinson Crusoe’s book as all the villas are copies of Defoe’s classic.
This Maldives surfing resort is one of the most eco-friendly resorts in the whole archipelago with a consistent and extremely active marine conservation program, its own herbs and vegetable garden and environmentally friendly policies.
The 45 beach villas and overwater villas resemble wooden boats floating at sea and give a new meaning to the word luxury.
The centerpiece of Gili Lankanfushi Maldives is the Private Reserve, a huge villa located on a private island with stunning views of the sea and its own butler.
Speaking about dining, here is what I like most.
You have themed nights each day serving Maldivian Seafood grill, Asian Street Market, Mediterranean Spice Souk, and other delicious dishes.
There are also a la carte restaurants serving Japanese cuisine, Maldivian dishes including Mas Huni (tuna with onion, chili, and coconut), and Faro Mas Riha (spicy reef-fish curry).

We had an amazing stay at Gili. Everything from the moment we were met at the airport was perfect and our Mr. Friday (Fiyaz) made sure we were well looked after the entire trip. The beach in particular was amazing. The snorkeling trip was great and provided opportunities to see rays, sharks, and turtles. The private jungle cinema was also well worth and a very unique and memorable experience. The food was consistently excellent and all of the theme nights provided good variation. Would highly recommend the spa, one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Although not as remote as other resorts, this really doesn’t matter when you are there and the views of the lagoon and beyond are still outstanding. Just makes for an easy and quick airport transfer. Would definitely stay again
Claudine Z from US
We have just returned from Gili and it is a world away from home. It is seriously paradise. Everything about Gili is superb and I am struggling to think of any constructive criticism!! We have been to two islands before which have been smaller than Gili but i loved the fact that it was a little bigger but not too big. The beach and the turquoise calm sea is the best i have ever seen. We had a water villa with private pool which was bigger than my actual home! Stunning. The food was incredible, the wine menu amazing and the excursions were fantastic and also not a maldivian rip off! In fact very reasonable. But what makes this place so special is the staff – from Aslam our villa attendant who was incredible and our villa spotless every day to Rohan and Ramen the fab sommeliers to Nicolas the GM. But it was Shaany our girl Friday who i just wanted to take home with me. The kindest, loveliest Ms Friday we could have wished for. I often saw her playing with other peoples kids and i could see they loved her. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she always with a smile on her face. I will be coming back just for Shaany. Thank you Gili and thank you Shaany for such a special and memorable stay and hope to see you again next February
4. Anantara Dhigu
My list of the best surf resorts Maldives continues with Anantara Dhigu, a family-friendly resort located quite close to Male, about 35 minutes speedboat ride from the airport.
The beautiful Anantara Dhigu Maldives comes with a green jungle in the middle of the island, a white sandy beach, and turquoise waters.
The villas and common areas blend in perfectly and are made mostly from wood and inspired by Maldivian architecture.
There are in total 110 suites and villas some of them located on the beach, while others over the water.
All the beach villas come with private terraces, ocean views, separate showers, and extremely spacious rooms.
On the island, there are 4 restaurants serving Maldivian dishes, grilled specialties as well as international, authentic Italian, and Asian cuisine.
The staff from Anantara Dhigu Maldives is extremely helpful, well trained and with a large smile on their face, they do anything to make your stay more comfortable and memorable.
When it comes to the waves, the closest place is Nonyas, about 5 minutes speedboat ride from the resort, a place suitable for all levels of surfers.

Our stay was amazing. Our room was upgraded at arrival and we were pleased with that as the other side of the island was very windy. The staff was amazing, always smiling and happy to help. I would mention Ruvimbo, Fayaz, Nadwan and Mr Z at restaurants and Fazeel, Hanu and Vanessa.
Island was beautiful with opportunity to visit sister island and try different restaurants. Food was good and plenty of choice. it was an unforgettable holidays and we hope to come back one day
Vicki Codd from US
We go to the Anantara in Dubai and it’s always fantastic so we thought we’d try the Maldives one and we weren’t disappointed! The most gorgeous holiday we’ve ever had. The hotel and staff are amazing, and the island is like a paradise! We had an over the sea sunset villa and the views were unbelievable. Great for snorkeling too – the fish literally come round your villa or you can go on the fantastic trips to the coral. Can’t wait to come back!
5. Como Cocoa Island
None of the top about surfing in Maldives resorts are complete without mentioning one of the world’s best resorts, Como Cocoa Island.

I have spend a week with my friend at Como Cocoa and it was pure bliss. The villas overlook an amazing blue ocean, right next to a reef with outstanding snorkeling at one’s doorstep. The spa has an extensive menu and there are yoga, pilates & gym options offered.
What makes this resort truly outstanding is its compact size, everything is in walking distance, no kids club. It feels very cosy and secluded at the same time. There is only one restaurant, with a varied & variable menu – but this means all choices have been made, to perfection. One only needs to disconnect and relax.
I will for sure return.
Luca from Switzerland
Cocoa island is a paradise on earth. Everything is taken care of and the staff of the island is meticulously cleaning the beach.
Our pool villa was amazing, but also the other villas and Dhoni are very comfortable and great.
During our stay we were looked after by Muru. He was always very helpful and his services made our experience even better.
The spa zone is also great and April is doing a great job by making you feel relaxed.
You cannot get bored here and the only problem is that sooner or later you must leave.
I couldn’t have imagined a better experience!
6. Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi
Located on the North Male Atoll on a remote island surrounded by pristine beaches and turquoise waters, Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi is one of the best choices for surfers interested in visiting the Maldives.
Adaaran Select Huduran Fushi Maldives has exclusive access to the surfing spot Lohis known all over the archipelago for its great waves and incredible currents.
If a short speedboat ride is not a problem then you can surf at Chickens, Jailbreaks, Cokes, and Sultans as all these places are located quite close to the resort.
Adaaram has a special package for surfers consisting of 7 nights of accommodation, a surf pass, and a premium all-inclusive package.
The resort is accessible only by speedboat and the ride from Male International Airport lasts for about 30 minutes.
Featuring 197 villas displayed in three categories garden villa, a beach villa, and overwater villa the hotel is among the most popular Maldives surf resorts.
At Adaaran Select Huduran Fushi Maldives there are 6 restaurants and bars, serving Asian, Maldivian, and International dishes as well as a long list of cocktails, wines, and beer.
Among the activities available at the water center located on the island I recommend you to try a diving tour, fishing tour (no matter if you go with sunset tour or sunrise tour), and the sunset cruise which is extremely romantic.
Among the things that I like at this hotel are:
- Private surfing place available just for hotel guests- Lohis
- Maldives most consistent surfing break
- You can watch surfing from the bar or restaurant

Stayed for 3 weeks, great experience. Friendly staffs, skilled surf guides, wonderful surf spots nearby. Food is great, restaurants and bars are very clean. These above are definitely what I expected from Maldives.
Lohis surf break is right in front of the beach, step out my room and walk for ten seconds then I get to surf. Another more beginner-friendly surf spot Ninjas takes a five minutes boat trip from the resort.
I will definitely come back for surfing in the near future
OnHols5 from London, UK
This was the best holiday ever!! Beautiful location, lovely hotel, great food of all varieties of the world and very friendly staff. We stayed for 7 nights.
The beach villas are fantastic and very clean. The beach area is kept exceptionally well. From the moment you step off the boat, they look after you throughout your stay!!
A special thanks to Suba, Guest Relations Manager. It was our twins 17th Birthday while we there and we went to the front desk to speak to Suba. She reassured us that they will make the day special for our girls, they did!! They decorated their room, decorated our table for dinner and also arranged a chocolate cake and all the waiters sang happy birthday to them!! It was definitely a birthday they will remember.
7. Kandima Maldives
Located in the beautiful and remote Dhaalu Atoll, Kandima Maldives is definitely one of the most affordable surf resorts in the Maldives.
You can reach Kandima Maldives after a 30 minutes domestic flight followed by a 20 minutes speedboat ride, which is definitely cheaper than the cost of a seaplane, or if you want to travel in style and spoil a little bit then go for the seaplane because is simply magical.
This remote destination comes with a wide range of facilities and a lot of fun and interesting activities so you will never get bored of it.
The huge lagoon near the resort is perfect for a wide range of water activities including snorkeling, paddleboarding, or kayaking, while within a short boat ride you reach some spectacular diving sites.
Speaking about the villas from Kandima Maldives, I want you to know that you can choose from overwater villas and beach villas.
My favorite ones are the ocean villas which come with more space, lots of privacy, and greater luxury.

We took a break from the hustle of work and life, we traveled to Kadima to escape the cold winter of NY, with our children. We enjoyed the stay, our aqua villa was in great condition, the cleanliness of the resort was maintained throughout the stay. The food was good, although it is difficult to make dinner reservations at the la carte restaurants. A special shout out to Janakka from flavor, he was very fastidious to our needs and if we needed anything, he went above and beyond. Ravi and Deepak from the flavor as well were very keen to great service. Last but not least Abu from Azure was a delight and made sure the food was great! We hope to return again!
Manpreet S from UK
Absolute PARADISE!! When arriving to Kandima, my husband and I were blown away, it was stunning! The island is a little piece of heaven, our room was beautiful, the food was vast and delicious, the pool/beach area was clean and inviting. The activities and things to do on the island were second to none and the entertainment was fantastic every evening, we never had a boring moment. The staff was so friendly and helpful, special shout outs to Shivraj, Indrika, Rasal, Thithi, Abu, Risaam, Rajesh, Nai, Mega, plus so many more who’s names I didn’t take down, but thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful and making my birthday so special. My husband and I can’t thank you enough
8. Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma
Located about 45 minutes boat ride from Male International Airport, Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma is one of the best places to stay if you are looking to combine the surfing experience with some relaxation.
Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives is located on South Male Atoll, secluded enough to guarantees you a memorable stay away from crowds, noise and pollution.
What I like about this resort is that the number of surfers is limited so you can fully enjoy the surfing experience.
The closest surf spots Natives and Riptides are all located within a few minutes boat ride from the resort, not to mention the resort’s exclusive surf break known as YES!Kandoomas allows a maximum of 40 surfs at a time.
The villas are spread all across the island and have direct access to the beach, lagoon, and the ocean.
Adults and kids can take surfing lessons, swimming lessons, and PADI lessons, while there is a Kids Club with lots of activities for young guests.

I strongly recommend you a spa treatment after a long day on the waves as here you will find experienced therapists and a long list of treatments and massages available.

Paradise is an understatement for this island getaway in the Maldives. With so many places to choose from Holiday Inn pulled through with quick response and accommodating staff. Attention to guest details started as soon as we arrived at the #45 counter in Male. The speedboat transfer was fun and arrival drinks were welcomed. We were upgraded to an overwater villa which was something dreams are made of. Every need was met from living in style, snorkeling equipment and full board meals that were truly 5 stars! Spa treatments at COCO topped off the trip, and that Ginger lemon honey drink- OMG!!! Can’t say enough about this resort…. if you want a relaxing worry-free fun time- this is it.
Guy Jay B from US
After traveling in more than 30 countries and staying in all types of establishments (luxurious and simple but cozy) we were very pleased to find such an outstanding resort that goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed
The rooms (Lagoon View Beach Access) are cozy , with a comfortable bed and new furniture the property feels fresh and new and the the cleanliness is outstanding. From the balcony of the room, you can watch Kandooma right surfing spot ( one of the best waves in the maldives) 50m from the room and you are inside on of the best spots to surf in Maldives.
We believe this place deserves an Exemplary Service Award – and we highly recommend it to couples , groups and and it is indeed one of the best option for Surfers – who can surf in – Kandooma right (private spot), rip tides, quarters ,foxy`s, twinpeaks etc.
9. Cinnamon Dhonveli
Located about 30 minutes speedboat ride from Male International Airport, Cinnamon Dhonveli is one of the most affordable surf resorts in the Maldives.
Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives features 148 rooms with modern but simple furniture with a downstairs living area and a mezzanine bedroom with a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean.
The overwater bungalows located on the lagoon come with direct access to the sea, while the garden bungalows which are nestled in the middle of the jungle are usually occupied by surfers and large families as some of the villas come with two-level structures.
All the rooms come with an outdoor private space, life jackets, and umbrellas while inside your villa you can find a safe, tea and coffee machine, WiFi, ironing facilities, and ceiling fan plus AC.
The most modern and stylish villas from this island resort are the Over Water Suites which come with premium amenities, incredible views of the ocean, large living spaces, and an indoor jacuzzi.
For dining at Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives, there are 3 restaurants on the island where you can serve all the 3 meals of the day, dishes inspired by international cuisine plus a corner with themed dishes for dinner time.
Based on the room type chosen you to have access to a certain restaurant, but the food is the same in all the 3 dining enclosures.
Raahlu Bar is the best place to chill and relax while sipping on a cocktail and looking to the surfing spot.
Speaking about surfing, the best place to surf that is the closest to Cinnamon Dhonveli is called Pasta Point, named by many as the best surfing spot from the Maldives.
The place is dedicated to the surfers that stay at Cinnamon Dhonveli and the maximum number of surfers allowed in the area should not exceed 30.

This is an amazing place, the food, the rooms, the sea life and most importantly the people, everyone is so friendly and polite and want to make sure you’re having a wonderful holiday, special mentions to 3 people that helped make our holiday so amazing, Rafik ( not sure on spelling) in the beach bar always willing to make his special drinks up to try and always with a smile and a chat, Osi from the Surfers bar always remembered our names and made sure there was a table and chairs and constantly checking for drinks and of course Niyaz who served our breakfast, lunch and evening meal for the two weeks we were there, he always provided conversation on several subjects and was always up for some banter and by the end of the holiday felt we have a friend for life. We stayed in a water bungalow and it was fantastic watching Reef sharks, turtles and stingrays swim by every day was so special, we cannot speak highly enough about this resort and we will definitely be back.

Don’t even know where to start. Staying in the Over Water Suites is a must! The rooms are beautiful, sooo clean and the cleaners even get your room ready for bed which is a lovely touch. We saw sharks, turtles, rays and a huge variety of fish from our terrace, which many people on the beach bungalows might have missed. The only thing to be aware of is the current can be quite strong at high tide but we always swam outside our room at a lower tide and beach/sea shoes are a must as there are rocks and corals. You also get exclusive use of the infinity pool which only over-water suite guests can use, and access to the best restaurant on the island. The staff are amazing, all so friendly, especially Satar by the pool and the chap who makes the omlettes in the morning (unfortunately we never caught his name). The hotel offers a few excursions (snorkeling/ dolphin watching etc) which are great value and we also did the jet ski tour with the lovely guys at dive and sail which is great fun! Nothing we could really fault! Really advise taking lots of sun cream as the UV seems to be very intense!
10. Kuda Villingili
Opened in June 2021, Kuda Villingili is one of the newest surf resorts in the Maldives, conveniently located in North Male Atoll, about 30 minutes speedboat from Velana International Airport.
This brand new 5 stars resort hosts the largest swimming pool from the entire Maldives archipelago and special packages for surfers.
Guests from Kuda Villingili Maldives have direct access to one of the best surfing spots in the Maldives, Chicken’s Break.
If a short speedboat ride is not a problem for you then you might try the waves from Sultans, Jails, and Honkys, which are located within a few minutes speedboat from the resort.
As for the resort, I have only good words about it, as it is one of the most beautiful and new hotels in the area.
Kuda Villingili Maldives design and palette of colors are inspired both by local flora and the ocean, while inside the villas you can find eco-friendly furniture and high-quality fittings.
All the 96 villas from the island, some of them located on the beach, while others over the water come with huge windows, amazing views of the ocean, and some of them with their own private plunge pool.
As about dining, you have to choose from the 3 menus, called Fire, Ocean, and Earth that refers to:
- Fire is a classic American steakhouse
- Earth dishes are inspired the Asian Cuisine
- The ocean is a fine dining restaurant based on seafood dishes

Conclusion
All these surf resorts in the Maldives offer amazing sceneries, incredible services, and access to the best surf locations from the archipelago.
Most of these resorts are conveniently located close to Male International Airport and are within minutes away by seaplane or a quick seaplane ride from the airport.
Of all the resorts in the Maldives, these are the most popular ones and they are likely to sell out soon not just because of the services and facilities offered but also because of their closeness to the surfing spots.
You will probably hear also about Ayada Maldives, Anantara Veli or Niyama private islands as being great for surfers, but in my opinion, these resorts are better for those looking to relax not riding the waves all day.
Pick the resort you like most and be prepared for an amazing holiday in the middle of the ocean, a real piece of paradise.

When we go for longer trips around the world we get Globelink Insurance as it offers a good cover for an affordable price.
Travel insurance will always protect you against unexpected costs caused by medical events like illness, injury, theft, or travel cancellation.
We never go on any trip without travel insurance and there were many cases when we had to use it.
Renting a car
We like to explore a country on our own and a car gives us the mobility and freedom to do that.
We always rent our car from Discovercars as they have free cancellation 48 hours prior to starting date and a wide range of car rental companies and options to choose from all over the world.
Tours and attractions
When we are looking for some adventure or we simply want to break up the monotony and discover new places, we always use GetYourGuide.
We love it because we always find the most amazing experiences, with free cancellation and a large variety of activities and tours to choose from.
Airplane tickets and holiday packages
Expedia is our ally when searching for the best price for airplane tickets as it works as an aggregator for a huge number of airlines and we always find the best price for our flights.
Travel tip: use Expedia when you are searching for holiday packages as they have many last-minute offers and great discounts for hotels, flights, and even the whole holiday packages.
