Now let me tell you a few words about each of them!
Palermo Falcone Borcellino airport in sicily italy
Formerly known as Punta Raisi airport Palermo is located 35 kilometres northwest of Palermo city.
It is the second-largest airstrip from the island if we take into consideration the number of passengers who transit the area.
Companies like Air France, Alitalia, British Airways, Lufthansa and many others operate on this airstrip.
The second-largest Sicily Italy airport can be reached with a rented car, with public transport or by taxi.
You can rent a car directly from the airport, from the designated areas where all the major car rental companies have an office, or you can rent it online and pick up your car from the pickup area.
The second option is better because renting a car in advance means better prices and the possibility to choose the car model you want to rent.

So, to sum up, there are 4 international and 2 domestic airports on the island serving for commercial purposes.
