Well, because Italy is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe with many wonderful cities, amazing sceneries and very friendly people.
No matter if you want to spend a few days on an island and a few days in the mountains, Italy has everything you could wish.
Here are the best places to holiday Italy:
1. Dolomites Mountains
I never imagined that the mountains could be so beautiful until I saw the Dolomites.
I was amazed by the beauty of these mountains, by its turquoise lakes and high peaks.
There are so many interesting things you can do while in the Dolomites!
Planning a hike up to the top or somewhere to a hidden lake?
The Dolomites are the right place!
You have many options to choose from: easy hikes with a length of a few hours or more difficult ones lasting for a few days.
We followed the trail up to Lago di Sorapis and it was one of the best hikes I have ever had.
We also liked the Tre Cimes di Lavaredo trail, a place full of history with incredible scenery.
While in the Dolomites, pass by Cortina D’Ampezzo, Alta Badia or Val Gardena.
There are many wonderful resorts spread across the mountains but these ones are the best in my opinion.
Where to sleep: Treat yourself like a queen and choose one of the best ski resorts from the Dolomites.
Its name is Cristallo Luxury Collection Resort Dolomites .
This 5-stars resort is located in Cortina d’Ampezzo and offers wonderful views over the mountains.
The hotel has a heated indoor pool, 3 restaurants and a wellness centre where to relax and enjoy your time.

3. Venice, Best city to visit Italy
One of the best places to go Italy, Venice is a romantic city totally different from others.
It is the biggest city in Europe with no roads where the main transportation option is by boat.
Everywhere you need to go you get out of your home, hop into a boat and do your business.
Or, you can walk along the narrow streets of Venice.
The cars are left in parking spaces near the city.
Among Venice attractions, I would like to name the Saint Mark’s Cathedral and Saint Mark’s Piazza as well as the Doge’s Palace.
Some of the narrow streets of the city open in beautiful Piazzetta full of terraces and bars where you can rest and drink a coffee.
Where to sleep: Hotel Dona Palace Venice from Venice is our choice for your overnight stay.

One of the best places to holiday Italy is the capital of the country, Rome. It is a very vibrant city, full of ancient ruins and history.
I am sure that you read a lot and see many pictures of this city! Now it’s time to see it with your own eyes!
The Colosseum, Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi or Basilica St Peter’s are just some of the most important attractions of the city.
While in Rome, book some time to visit the Vatican with its incredible Sistine Chapel and its amazing painting made by Michelangelo and the Vatican museum.
Where to sleep: The Talent Hotel Roma is a 4-stars hotel located close to the city centre, right near Pantheon and Fontana di Trevi.
One of the most important attractions is located within walking minutes from the hotel.

Tuscany is one of the best places to go Italy.
It is one of the most beautiful countryside areas in the entire country.
I like everything about Tuscany: its green hills, its wonderful towns and its tasty wines.
Nothing could be more relaxing than renting a car and exploring the whole area and discovering villages hidden between the hills and towns where local culture is the masterpiece of social life.
A car gives you the freedom to move around and stop whenever you want. It is a great place to take photos of nature and to admire the landscape!
