In an ideal world, all days are sunny and warm but in real life, things are not like that especially when talking about the Paris area.

The climate from the area is similar to most European countries with hot summers and cold and rainy or even snowy winters.

January

Disneyland Paris weather in January is cold with a lot of rain, sometimes foggy and if you are lucky you might catch a little snow.

The average daytime temperatures are between 5 to 9 degrees Celsius and the wind is a gentle breeze.

The median cloud cover during January is 67% with around 12 days of rain and many more with fog.

February

If you plan to visit Disneyland Paris during February expect low temperatures, somewhere between 4 to 11 degrees Celsius.

There are on average about 10 days of rain and occasional thunderstorms and the median cover is 62%.

The length of the day gradually started to increase from about 9 h 22 minutes at the beginning of the month to 10 h 50 minutes on the last day of February.

March

In March the Disneyland Paris weather starts to warm and the average temperatures are between 9 to 17 degrees Celsius.

The foggy days are fewer and the quantity of precipitation decreases, too. In the last few years the average number of rainy days is around 9 so visiting the park in March might be a good idea.

April

The weather for Disneyland Paris is great for visiting the amusement park as the temperatures rise up to 20 degrees Celsius and the rainy days decrease compared to previous months.

You still need to dress warmly as mornings and evenings are colder, but in the midday when the sun is shining is quite warm.

May

May is one of the best months of the year in terms of weather in Disneyland Paris.

The number of hours of sunlight is increasing from one day to another, up to 15 hours and 50 minutes of daylight in the last day of the month.

With an average of 9 days of rain, May might be seen by many as a rainy month, but taking into consideration the location of the park and the climate, 9 days are reasonable.

June

If you choose to travel to Disneyland Paris in June you should expect a few thunderstorms and really pleasant weather.

Based on the previous years’ forecast, we estimate an average of 4 days of rain, maybe a few thunderstorms, and no fog.

The temperatures rise up to 28 degrees Celsius during daytime and the sun might cause sunburns so sun cream and a hat are always good to have with you.

Stay safe while you travel

July

July is the second month of summer in Paris and the weather for Disneyland Paris is perfect for exploring the park.

The main downside of this month is related to the high number of visitors and not to the weather itself.

Generally, the Disneyland Paris weather is sunny and warm with average temperatures around 22 to 27 degrees Celsius.

There might fall some short rains and thunderstorms but should not be something to ruin your holiday.

As the sun is pretty hot, cover your body with suncream and protective clothing and take with you at least a bottle of water.

August

With average temperatures between 21 to 29 degrees Celsius and the lower number of rainy days from all over the year, August is the crowdest month.

As the sun is shining so heavily you’d better consider reducing the sun exposure during the midday, wear sunglasses and protective clothes when you go outside.

Occasionally, a thunderstorm might appear but nothing important to ruin your day in the park.

September

The weather for Disneyland Paris in September is still warm with average temperatures between 20 to 26 degrees Celsius.

The number of rainy days is still below 10, with the first part of September being warmer and less rainy than the second part.

The speed of wind varies from 10 to 12 km/h so you can expect a pleasant breeze which is quite refreshing when the sun is shining heavily.

October

As autumn comes, expect a few days of fog and rain and lower temperatures than in the previous month for Disneyland Paris weather.

The average temperatures are somewhere between 15 to 23 degrees Celsius with the first part of the month being warmer than the second half.

On average, there are about 10 days of rain spread all over the month and a humidity index of 17 which means that you tend to feel little to no discomfort.

November

During November the temperatures fluctuate by at least 10 degrees and the wind is a gentle breeze.

The average temperatures are between 7 to 15 degrees Celsius so you should dress warmly before going out.

The length of the day easily decreases from 9 hours 55 minutes to 8 hours 37 minutes of daylight.

December

The weather for Disneyland Paris in December is cold and pretty rainy, with average temperatures around 10 degrees Celsius and more than 10 days of rain.

The weather might be really cold especially during night time when it can drop to 0 degrees Celsius.

So, you should pack thermal clothes if you plan to visit the park during this time of the year as Disneyland Paris weather in December is cold.

As you can see there are no major variations in terms of temperature from one month to another nor in the number of rainy days.

Still, from a weather perspective, the best time to visit the park is from late May to the middle of September.

But there are other factors which should be taken into consideration when planning your trip like the number of tourists and prices.

Disneyland Paris weather and the best time to go

Disneyland Paris is open all year round with a few exceptions and it is one of the most popular destinations for people of all ages.

If you want to visit the park and have the feeling that it was open just for yourself, then you should avoid the crowds.

Usually, the park is less crowded during weekdays, from Tuesday to Thursday and from mid-January to mid-March or from mid-April to mid-May and from mid-September to mid-October.

The benefits of visiting the park during these months are that the queues are shorter and you lose less time in the queues.

However, there might be fewer shows than during weekends and peak season, but there are still many things to see and do.

So, it is up to you to decide which time is best for you to visit this park but from my experience, I strongly advise you to avoid the peak season and weekends as you will lose many hours in the queues.

Where to sleep

You have to stay at least one night when visiting Disneyland Paris as there are so many interesting things to see.
