1. Simos Beach
This hidden beach is famous for its turquoise waters and soft sand, being a very popular beach among nature lovers and those who like to go camping.
There are no restaurants and taverns on the beach, locals trying to keep it wild and to maintain the beauty of the place.
Being so remote, the place is accessible only by car as there are no public means in Elafonisos.

2. Mylopotas beach
This stunning, sandy beaches with turquoise waters and lush vegetation is awarded a Blue Flag.
Being on top of Greek islands best beaches, this amazing place is an extremely crowded and popular strip of sand located close to the main village from the island, Chora.
It is split into two parts: a wild one which is unexploited where you can put your towel and bring your own umbrella to enjoy the sun and an organised area with sunbeds and umbrellas.

Its particular landscape is very impressive and hard to forget: long horizontal rocks emerging from the sea and eroded by time and saltwater with small and huge hollows all over them.

5. Saint Paul beach
Rhodes, Dodecanese, Aegean Sea
One of the best beaches on Greek islands, Saint Paul or Agios Pavlos as locals call it with its golden sand and pebbles is among the most touristic areas from the island.
It is located 48 kilometres south of Rhodes town and close to the ancient acropolis of Lindos.
There is even a local myth about this place, which connects the name of the beach with the chapel from the nearby area dedicated to Saint Paul who came here in 43 AD and preached Christianity.

6. Paleokastritsa beach

7. Voutoumi beach
One of the best beaches on Greek islands, Voutoumi is a nice pebbled beach located inside of a large cove with big rocks on both sides.
This secluded strip of sand is visited very often by private yachts, tour boats and water taxis and attracts tourists from the neighbouring islands like Corfu, Paxi and even Italy.
The turquoise and shallow waters of the bay and the magnificent scenery make from this place an ideal destination even for the picky ones.
Close to this beautiful beach, on top of the hill, there is a tavern which serves traditional snacks and local wines.
There are no shops or any kind of facilities in this secluded area so take with you everything you need for a day on the beach.
8. Porto Katsiki beach
One of the main attractions of Lefkada and listed as Greek islands best beaches, Porto Katsiki is a wonderful strip of sand located in the Mediterranean Sea.
The beach is located 45 kilometres away from the capital of the island, very close to Athani village.
The easiest way to access the beach is by car so you’d better consider renting one during your stay in Lefkada or by a private yacht.
The steep rocks which surround the golden beach form a wild but magnificent backdrop and come in opposite with the turquoise waters of the sea.
Lush vegetation covers the whole area near these stunning beach and creates one of the most idyllic sceneries in the world.
To get to the beach you need to descend the stairs located close to the restaurant from the top of the hill.
Sunbeds and umbrellas are available on the beach at an extra cost, but if you don’t want to pay extra you can bring your towel with you.
9. Navagio beach
Also known as Shipwreck Beach, Navagio is considered one of the best beaches on Greek islands.
It is located on the west coast of the island of Zakynthos right near Anafotiria village and is one of the most photographed places from Greece.
The initial name of the place was Agios Georgios but now it is worldwide known as Shipwreck strip of sand after the boat who sank in that waters in 1983.
The easiest way to get to this beautiful piece of paradise is to take a little boat from the port of Porto Vromi or a water taxi and the journey lasts for about 30 minutes.
It is one of the best destinations to go for a day trip when in Zakynthos, a secluded place where to spend a memorable day.
10. Red beach
Santorini, Cyclades Island
Without any doubts, one of the most incredible and famous beaches of Santorini, Red beach is in our top with Greek islands best beaches.
This strip of land is located on one side of the island, very close to the ancient site of Akrotiri, only a few minutes from the town.
Although a small beach is very popular among tourists so expect to find many people around to be a little bit noisy during the daytime.
The place is very accessible by car and in the nearby area, you can find a parking place where to leave your car just a few minutes walk from the beach.
Sunbeds and umbrellas are available at the beach but if you want you can bring with you the towel and put it directly on the dark sand.
Because of the multitude of underwater rocks formation, this is a very good place for snorkelling.
You can also reach this place by the water, with the boat which leaves from Akrotiri port according to the scheduler.
