One of my favorite beach resorts in Romania is Mamaia. So, I always visit Mamaia when I visit Romania. And Mamaia is the capital of entertainment and fun during the summer season. If you like to party then Mamaia should be your summer destination.

I have visited many times this beautiful place and I have always chosen to stay in another hotel. Based on my experience I prepared for you a list with the fanciest and most beautiful resorts from Mamaia and the nearby area.
1. Splendid Conference & Spa Hotel – Adults Only
Located in the north side of Mamaia, just 200 meters away from the beach, Splendid Conference& Spa hotel is an adult-only hotel newly renovated.
Its location is just perfect, right in the heart of the Black Sea Romania. On one side you have Siutghiol Lake and each evening you will see the sunset in this magnificent lake, and on the other side, there is the huge Black Sea.

The rooms are very clean and bright and the breakfast is varied and tasty.
It is a great choice if you are looking for accommodation close to the beach and the main points of interest from Mamaia.
2. Belle Epoque Boutique (Adult Only)
Located in Constanta Old town in a beautiful historic building, Belle Epoque Boutique is an adult-only hotel with rooms decorated in Baroque style. All the rooms are equipped with AC, hand-carved wood furniture, ceiling paintings, push carpets and chandeliers. Sleeping a night in this hotel is like travelling back in time. The décor and the atmosphere makes you feel like a noble.
Hotel Belle Epoque Boutique
The most interesting attractions from Constanta are within a walking distance. Ovidiu Square is at about 200 meters away from the hotel, while the promenade and the historic Casino Building is at about 900 meters.
The hotel located on the Black Sea Romania serves a really tasty breakfast and have a very good restaurant serving local and international dishes.
3. Vega Hotel
One of the few 5 stars hotel from Mamaia, Vega hotel is famous thanks to its Blue Flag beach and great services offered.
The hotel is located right in the heart of Mamaia and has rooms facing the sea. Inside and around the hotel there are many special designated places for children, including a pool and an indoor kindergarten.

On the last floor of the hotel, there is a superb Lounge Sky bar which offered a varied menu of drinks, snack, wines, cigars and tea.
4. Iaki Hotel Mamaia Black Sea Romania
Located close to Mamaia promenade and right on the beach, Iaki Hotel Mamaia offers beautiful rooms and great services. It stands out thanks to its great location, amazing services and excellent spa. The hotel has an indoor heated pool as well as an outdoor one.

The hotel restaurant serves international and local dishes which are all very well cooked and very tasty.
It might not be the most modern hotel we have ever stayed in but it impressed us with its services and its spa.

5. Nyota Hotel
Nyota hotel is a very modern and futuristic hotel located right near the centre of Mamaia nightlife. Famous local clubs like Nuba or Boa are right next to the hotel.
It is one of the favourite places for nightlife and beach lovers.

The hotel is located just a few meters from the beach and most of the rooms offer a sea view. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern and the breakfast is pretty varied and tasty.
There is also a private parking place available at the spot.
6. Hotel Opera Black Sea Romania
Located very close to Nyota hotel, Opera Hotel is located on the north side of Mamaia, very close to the most important clubs of the resort.
Most of the rooms have a sea view and is just a few minutes away from the beach. The staff is very friendly and polite making you feel like home.

You have also a pillow menu and a very comfortable bed where to rest after a long night in the clubs.
The hotel has a private restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The quality of the food is good and the services are great.
7. Phoenicia Royal hotel
Located right on Mamaia beach, Phoenicia Royal hotel offers great rooms with a nice view of the sea or the lake and even a private beach.
The hotel is child-friendly, having specially designated areas for children.
Phoenicia Grand Hotel Constanta
Inside the building, there is a hammam, a sauna, an indoor and outdoor pool and a water park. A restaurant and a mini-market could be found inside the hotel, too.
Between May to September, there is also a free shuttle bus from the hotel to Mamaia centre.
All these 7 hotels from Black Sea Romania are great and perfect for your summer holiday. Constanta airport is located just 30 kilometres away from Mamaia and from Bucharest to Mamaia, there is a 3 hours’ drive.
