In autumn, the days become shorter and the nights longer, the temperatures go down but the sun still warms the place in the middle of the day.

Nature and the villagers are all preparing for winter. Crops are harvested, the land is prepared for the next crop, and wild animals are gathering the last fruits of the season, seeds and other things which might be eaten during winter.

Transylvania is a very fertile area, so there are many reasons to celebrate.

For me, the first part of September is the ideal time to go to the seaside, because the prices are low and the weather is still good, while the second part of September should be dedicated to a trip in Transylvania.

October is also a month full of festivals. There are many wine festivals all over the country. You know that Transylvania has many wineries, don’t you?! A stop to one of these wineries is a very unique way to spend your day!

In November the festivals are over and everybody is preparing for winter. The days are short and foggy, the wild animals prepare for the winter sleep. It is not the best time to visit Romania.
